Este trabalho aborda a questĆ£o do Saara Ocidental, um dos Ćŗltimos territĆ³rios āsem donoā
no plano internacional. Desde o final dos anos 1970, aguarda uma soluĆ§Ć£o polĆtica e
jurĆdica para a execuĆ§Ć£o do direito dos povos Ć auto-determinaĆ§Ć£o. A situaĆ§Ć£o social e
polĆtica da populaĆ§Ć£o Ć© relatada, explanada mais do que analisada. A anĆ”lise foca,
sobretudo, o jogo entre paĆses vizinhos, os limites das intervenƧƵes das organizaƧƵes
internacionais ā com a OrganizaĆ§Ć£o das NaƧƵes Unidas, bem como de organizaƧƵes
regionais ā, e mostra os limites do direito internacional. Apesar dos projetos, as
esperanƧas do povo saharauĆ sĆ£o escassas, e parece estar constantemente nas mĆ£os de
terceiros.
This work focuses on the issue of Western Sahara, one of the last āterra nulliusā in the international scene. Since the end of the 1970s, it awaits for a political and legal solutiom for the execution of the right of people to self-determination. The social and political situation of the population is underlined, showed more than analised. However, what is analysed is the game played by neighbour states, and the limits of interventions of international organizations ā as the United Nations and regional organizations ā that show the limits if international law. Despite a few projects, the hope of the Western Sahara population seems to depend constantly on the help of third parts.
