| dc.description.abstract | O direito à educação e a concessão à saúde em todos os seus aspetos são fundamentais para o desenvolvimento social e económico. É indispensável incluir a promoção para a saúde nas escolas para que os jovens de hoje, adultos amanhã, tenham competências e habilidades cognitivas para um estilo de vida saudável. Sendo a sexualidade uma parte integrante da personalidade do ser humano, e a forma de se manifestar e viver difere de pessoa para pessoa, assim como, a forma de se expressar varia ao longo da vida, é fundamental que a literacia em saúde sexual seja desenvolvida o mais precoce possível. Esta investigação tem como objetivo geral «identificar o conhecimento dos alunos do 11º ano de uma escola urbana sobre sexualidade». Trata-se de um estudo transversal, quantitativo, de caráter descritivo, desenvolvido com alunos do 11º ano numa escola urbana do Porto. A colheita dos dados realizou-se através do «Questionário de conhecimento sobre sexualidade - QCS» a 82 jovens entre os 16 e 19 anos. O tratamento estatístico dos dados foi realizado com o software Statistical Package for the Social Science - SPSS, e a análise deu-se a partir da estatística descritiva. Concluiu-se que os jovens apresentam melhores conhecimentos na temática sexualidade e prazer sexual, com resultados entre 85,4% e 95,1% de respostas corretas. Em contrapartida, nas restantes temáticas apresentam um défice, com uma maior oscilação entre as respostas. Pode-se afirmar, portanto, que na generalidade, existe um défice na literacia em saúde sobre sexualidade entre os jovens. | pt_PT |
| dc.description.abstract | The right to education and the health in all its aspects are fundamental for social and economic development. For today's youth, tomorrow's adults, to have the cognitive skills and abilities for a healthy lifestyle, it is essential to include health promotion in schools. As sexuality is an integral part of the human personality, and the way of manifesting and living differs from person to person, in addition the way of expressing oneself varies throughout life, it is essential that sexual health literacy be developed as early as possible. Thus, this investigation has the general objective of «identifying the knowledge of students in the 11th year of an urban school about sexuality». This is a cross-sectional, quantitative, descriptive study, developed with 11th grade students in an urban school in Porto. The data’s collection took place through the «Questionnaire of knowledge about sexuality (QCS in Portuguese) » to 82 young people between 16 and 19 years old. The statistical treatment of the data was performed using the Statistical Package for the Social Science - SPSS software, and the analysis was based on descriptive statistics. It was concluded that young people have better knowledge on the topic of sexuality and sexual pleasure, with results between 85.4% and 95.1% of correct answers. On the other hand, in the remaining themes they present a deficit, with a greater oscillation between the answers. It can be said, therefore, that in general, there is a deficit in health literacy on sexuality among young people. | pt_PT |
