Abstract(s)
“A sexualidade na adolescência é considerada um problema de saúde pública, sendo a escola um local privilegiado de implementação de políticas públicas que promovam a saúde do adolescente, contribuindo para o esclarecimento e problematização relativa à educação sexual” (Silva, Ferreira, Amaral-Bastos, Monteiro & Couto, 2020).
A presente monografia foi elaborada no âmbito da unidade curricular Projeto de Graduação, inserida no 2º semestre do 4º ano da Licenciatura de Enfermagem da Escola Superior de Saúde Fernando Pessoa (ESS-FP) no ano letivo 2021/2022, intitulada “Conhecimento dos Adolescentes de uma Escola da Zona do Porto sobre Sexualidade”. Apresenta como objetivo geral efetuar o diagnóstico situacional sobre o conhecimento dos adolescentes sobre a sexualidade.
A componente metodológica deste projeto, foi elaborada a partir de uma pesquisa bibliográfica retrata aspetos importantes relacionados com a temática em estudo. É um estudo transversal e descritivo de abordagem quantitativa. A amostra foi constituída por alunos do décimo ano de uma escola publica na Zona do Porto, selecionada através de uma amostra por conveniência, tendo como instrumento de recolha de dados, um questionário.
Os adolescentes do sexo feminino apresentam melhores conhecimentos sobre a área temática em comparação com o sexo masculino. As áreas temáticas do questionário onde apresentam melhores resultados dizem respeito a D2 – “Sexualidade e prazer sexual”, D4 – “Prevenção da gravidez” e D6 – “Aconselhamento e atendimento em saúde sexual e reprodutiva”.
A realização deste projeto de investigação, realça a importância de transmitir informação verdadeira, clara e correta aos adolescentes sobre a sexualidade e os seus comportamentos de risco, incidindo as suas intervenções nas áreas temáticas que apresentam maior dificuldades.

This monograph was prepared within the scope of the Graduation Project, inserted in the 2nd semester of the 4th year of the Nursing Degree at the Fernando Pessoa Higher School of Health (ESS-FP) in the academic year 2021/2022, entitled “Knowledge of Adolescents of a School in the Porto Zone on Sexuality”. The main purpose of this work is to do the diagnosis about the teens knowledge in terms of sexuality. The methodology of this study begins with a search. Is a transversal and descriptive study. The sample chosen the students for the 10º grade of a secondary school in Porto. A quiz was used to obtain the answers from students. This quiz shows that the girls have better knowledge about sexuality than the guys. The themes that represent better results are D2 – “Sexuality and Pleasure”, D4 – “Pregnancy and Prevention” e D6 – “Sexual and reproductive health counseling”. This research highlights are the importance of transmitting true and correct information to adolescents about sexuality and their risk behaviors, focusing on their interventions on the thematic areas that present greater difficulties.
