Tratamento não cirúrgico da mucosite peri-implantar, com laseres: revisão narrativa

| dc.description.abstract | Objectivo: Avaliar a utilização do laser no tratamento não cirúrgico da mucosite periimplantar. Materiais e Métodos: Para o desenvolvimento desta revisão bibliográfica, foi realizada uma pesquisa bibliográfica entre Agosto 2018 e Abril 2019, recorrendo à base de dados da MEDLINE/PubMed. Apenas foram incluídas revisões sistemáticas e meta-análises, baseadas em estudos em humanos, sem limites temporais, todavia foi dada maior relevância a referências publicadas nos últimos 10 anos, publicadas em língua inglesa, portuguesa ou espanhola. Foram adicionados alguns artigos a partir de livros como: “Peri-implantitis” da autoria de Renvert e Giovannoli (2012), “Lasers in Dentistry – Current Concepts” escrito por Coluzzi e Parker (2017), “Peri-implant infection: etiology, diagnosis and treatment” dos autores Schwarz e Becker (2010), “Clinical Periodontology and Implant Dentistry” desenvolvido por Lang e Lindhe (2015) e “Implants In Clinical Dentistry” de Palmer et al., (2002), para enquadramento do tema. Resultados: Foram incluídas 5 revisões sistemáticas (Renvert et al., 2008; Figuero et al., 2014; Schwarz et al., 2015; Guo-Hao et al., 2016; Albaker, et al., 2018) e 1 ECRC (Aimetti et al., 2019). Cada publicação è descrita tendo em conta os objectivos, materiais e métodos, resultados e conclusões. Conclusão: Não existem grandes evidencias científicas sobre os resultados da utilização do laser no tratamento da mucosite peri-implantar, onde são preferidas outras técnicas não cirúrgicas. O laser tem sido mais utilizado para o tratamento da peri-implantite. | pt_PT |
| dc.description.abstract | Objective: Evaluate the use of laser treatment in non-surgical peri-implant mucositis. Materials and Methods: For the development of this bibliographic review, a bibliographic research was carried out between August 2018 and April 2019, using the MEDLINE / PubMed database. Only systematic reviews and meta-analyzes, based on human studies, with no time limits were included, however, references to the last 10 years have been published in English, Portuguese or Spanish. Some articles have been added from the books as "Periimplantitis" by Renvert & Giovannoli (2012), “Lasers in Dentistry – Current Concepts” written by Coluzzi & Parker (2017), "Peri-implant infection: etiology, diagnosis and treatment" by Schwarz & Becker (2010), "Clinical Periodontology and Implant Dentistry "developed by Lang & Lindhe (2015) and" Implants In Clinical Dentistry” by Palmer et al., (2002) for framing the theme. Results: Five systematic reviews (Renvert et al., 2008, Figuero et al., 2014, Schwarz et al., 2015, Guo-Hao et al., 2016, Albaker et al., 2018) and 1 ECRC (Aimetti et al., 2019). Each publication is described taking into account the objectives, materials and methods, results and conclusions. Conclusion: There is no scientific evidence about the results of laser use in the treatment of peri-implant mucositis, where other non-surgical techniques are preferred. Laser has been more used for the treatment of peri-implantitis. | pt_PT |
