Abstract(s)
O presente trabalho tem como objetivo a análise sociodemográfica da cidade de Santo Tirso, com o objetivo de analisar e compreender as alterações a nível urbano com a finalidade de responder à questão núcleo desta dissertação, “para quem construímos?”.
Isto permitirá elaborar uma ligação ou correlação entre o desenvolvimento urbano com a atual situação demográfica da cidade de Santo Tirso, podendo-se observar algumas questões relacionadas com o passado, presente e futuro da mesma. Que impacto tiveram esses acontecimentos no passado que levaram ao atual “estado” ou condição do concelho e cidade, e que efeitos terá no seu futuro. Através de uma prospeção demográfica, entre o ano de 2021 e 2031, é pretendido a elaboração de uma análise sobre o futuro demográfico do concelho assim como uma análise a uma menor escala referente á união de freguesias de Santo Tirso, Burgães, Santa Cristina do Couto e São. Miguel, de forma a identificar quais as alterações não só na população tirsense assim como futuros desafios no tecido urbano da cidade.
Este trabalho irá ser desenvolvido por diversos capítulos, analisando enumeres aspetos atuais e não atuais da cidade, fazendo uma relação com o espontâneo aparecimento de vários empreendimentos habitacionais que estão a ser construídos atualmente na cidade de Santo Tirso, sendo este um dos motivos que suscitou o meu interesse em abordar este fenómeno.
The present work aims at the sociodemographic analysis of the city of Santo Tirso, with the objective of analyzing and understanding the changes at the urban level in order to answer the core question of this dissertation, "who do we build for?". This will make it possible to establish a link or correlation between urban development and the current demographic situation of the city of Santo Tirso, and it will be possible to observe some issues related to its past, present and future. What impact did these events have in the past that led to the current “state” or condition of the county and city, and what effects will it have on their future. Through a demographic survey, between the year 2021 and 2031, it is intended to elaborate an analysis on the demographic future of the county as well as an analysis on a smaller scale referring to the union of parishes of Santo Tirso, Burgães, Santa Cristina do Couto and São Miguel, in order to identify the changes not only in the Tirsense population as well as future challenges in the urban fabric of the city. This work will be developed by several chapters, analyzing a number of current and non-current aspects of the city, making a relationship with the spontaneous appearance of several housing developments that are currently being built in the city of Santo Tirso, which is one of the reasons that gave rise to my interest in addressing this phenomenon.
