Abstract(s)
Drug dependence represents a significant problem around the world as it poses risks to the health of individuals and their safety at several levels. It is a population that is often in danger situations. Therefore, it is pertinent to analyze the behaviors typically developed by the drug-addicted population that, often inserted in a deviant subculture, becomes very vulnerable. The present study is exploratory, descriptive, transversal, retrospective and observational, using the questionnaire as a data collection technique, in order to identify the behaviors that most vulnerable the drug-addicted population and to recognize sexual risk behaviors. The questionnaire was administered to a sample of 100 individuals of both sexes, all dependent on substances, aged between 20 and 64 years. The results point to a high-risk exposure, within the scope of sexual promiscuity behaviors, revealing a pattern of risk behaviors in this sample. It concludes in favor of a revision of the programs of accompaniment of this population, taking care of this type of conduct and also to a greater exploration on this subject.
