Abstract(s)
After the military coup of September 11 1973, several Chilean texts seek to return to this traumatic event and its consequences from diverse perspectives. The following article traces literary memory, highlighting those accounts that have attempted to speak about the past by providing a narrative of a present in which political, economic and social conditions reveal the indelable legacies of the dictatorial regime.
