Abstract(s)
Objectives: Analyze the technical and biological complications of rehabilitation in screw retained implant-supported prostheses. Methods: This bibliographic review was prepared using a search of scientific publications, using PubMed computer databases (using a MeSH). Thisresearch wassubject to the application of inclusion and exclusion. Only review articles, meta-analyzes and studies related to complications, characteristics of screw-retained implant-supported prosthesis, comparing this technique with cemented were included. Results: 5 systematic reviews, 1 meta-analysis and 4 systematic reviews with meta-analysis were analyzed, comparing the two types of screw-retained and cemented retention and their technical and biological complications. The observed clinical parameters were described. Conclusions: After the conclusions obtained, we can affirm that the screwed implant-supported prosthesis has more technical complications and less biological complications.
