Abstract(s)

O autor pretende neste artigo dar a conhecer o Museu do Abade de Baçal, Bragança. Assim, apresenta brevemente tanto a história das colecções que actualmente integram o museu, como a história do edifício que o acolhe. De seguida, recordando uma visita recentemente realizada, descreve o museu guiando o leitor através das várias salas. Ao longo desta “visita virtual”, é chamada a atenção do leitor para aspectos que pareceram mais significativos e dignos de referência. In this paper the author presents the Museum Abade de Baçal, Bragança (North Portugal). The first topic is the history of the museum’s collections and the history of the building where the museum is located. The museum is then described room after room as the author reflects on a recent visit. During this “virtual visit” some particularly relevant aspects are discussed.
