Introduction: The Flossband (FB) or Tissue flossing (TF) is a material used as a therapeutic strategy to increase range of motion (ROM), performances, strength, accelerate recovery and reduce pain. Objective: To verify the immediate effects of FB on knee flexion range of motion. Methodology: After completing the questionnaire, 58 healthy participants, aged 18 to 35 years, were randomly divided into two groups named Intervention Group (IG) (n=29), and Control Group (CG) (n=29). In a first evaluation (M0) the knee flexion amplitudes were measured with a goniometer. Then the control group (n=29), without FB and the intervention group (n=29) with FB on knee joint of the dominant limb underwent passive and active mobilization of the knee joint. Immediately after the GI/GC both groups were again evaluated (M1). Results: It was observed that there are differences between GI (24.0 ; 3.0 years) when compared with CG (23.0 ; 2.0 years) regarding knee joint flexion amplitudes (p≤0.05). Conclusion: The study demonstrated that the FB applied to the knee joint seems to increase the ROM of flexion in healthy participants.
