Abstract(s)
Objetivo: O objetivo deste trabalho consiste em perceber se a realidade virtual pode ser útil na gestão da ansiedade e da dor na consulta odontopediátrica.
Metodologia: Pesquisa bibliográfica efetuada em diferentes bases de dados eletrónicos (B-ON, PUBMED, ResearchGate, Science direct) na língua francesa e inglesa. Também foi pesquisado nas bases: Cairn, HAL e Arquivo Universitários abertos de Boston e da Sorbonne. Foram definidos termos de pesquisa, critérios de inclusão e de exclusão para a seleção dos artigos. No final foram incluídos 25 artigos para a realização desta revisão.
Principal Tópico Abordado: Numa primeira parte, será abordado a história e as aplicações da realidade virtual. Numa segunda parte das áreas de aplicação no que se refere a ansiedade, a dor e a prevenção. De seguida, a adaptação das aplicações aos efeitos pretendidos e por fim das respostas comportamentais e limitações destas aplicações.
