Abstract(s)
Objetivo: Avaliar o risco e prevalência de lesões músculo-esqueléticas (LME) em costureiras da CRS (Correia, Rosa, Soares) -Indústria de vestuário, SA, perceber quais os fatores associados com o contexto de trabalho, que se relacionam com as mesmas. Metodologia: A amostra utilizada neste estudo foi constituída por 50 costureiras da CRS (média de 44,50 anos). Preencheram um inquérito subjetivo para obter informações sobre características individuais e de trabalho, o questionário nórdico de sintomas músculo-esqueléticos e foi aplicado o Rapid Entire Body Assessment (REBA). Resultados: A área com mais problemas nos últimos 12 meses pelas costureiras sentadas foi a lombar (81,8%) e pelas costureiras que trabalham em pé tornozelos/pés (100%), sendo estas zonas as que levaram a um maior afastamento das atividades, assim como se mantiveram como problema nos últimos 7 dias, respetivamente. As costureiras que trabalham na posição de sentada apresentaram risco alto de desenvolver LME enquanto na posição de pé o risco foi médio. Conclusão: As costureiras têm risco de desenvolver LME, sendo a posição de sentada a que causa mais dor/desconforto. São necessárias medidas de prevenção e melhoria das condições de trabalho.
Objective: To evaluate the risk and prevalence of musculoskeletal injuries (MSI) in seamstresses at CRS (Correia, Rosa, Soares)-Indústria de vestuário, SA, and to understand which factors associated with the work context are related to them. Methodology: The sample consisted of 50 seamstresses from CRS (mean age 44,50 years). They completed a subjective inquiry to obtain information on individual and work characteristics, the Nordic Questionnaire of Musculoskeletal Symptoms and the Rapid Entire Body Assessment (REBA) was applied. Results: The area with the most problems in the last 12 months for seated seamstresses was the lower back (81,8%) and for seamstresses working standing ankles/feet (100%), these areas being the ones that led to the greatest absence from activities, as well as remaining a problem in the last 7 days, respectively. Seamstresses working in a sitting position had a high risk of developing MSI, while in a standing position the risk was medium. Conclusion: Seamstresses have a risk of developing MSI, with the sitting position causing the most pain/discomfort. Prevention measures and improvement of working conditions are necessary.
