| dc.description.abstract | Na atualidade, para além da sobrevivência e da reprodução, a natureza social e as emoções são duas das principais características da espécie humana. Nesse sentido, o reconhecimento da expressão facial das emoções sociais é uma forma imediata de obter informação relativa ao estado emocional e fisiológico do outro e de regular a vida em sociedade. Atualmente, o principal instrumento científico para mapear os marcadores da expressão facial da emoção é o Freitas-Magalhães Facial Action Coding System (F-M FACS 5.0). Sendo assim, a presente investigação revela-se pertinente para discorrer sobre os resultados obtidos a partir da seguinte questão, “quais são os marcadores das expressões faciais das emoções sociais, inveja, perdão, luto, culpa, ódio, ciúme, orgulho e vergonha?” e, consequentemente, traz um contributo para ampliar o entendimento sobre o atlas da face humana nas suas inúmeras interações sociais. Encontrar resposta para essa questão, pode fornecer informações para a criação da primeira tabela periódica das emoções sociais. Em função da perspectiva descrita acima, o objetivo desse estudo é identificar os marcadores das expressões faciais das emoções sociais, inveja, perdão, luto, culpa, ódio, ciúme, orgulho e vergonha em uma tabela periódica com recurso ao F-M FACS 5.0. A presente investigação insere-se nas áreas do conhecimento sobre a Psicologia das Emoções e do instrumento F-M FACS 5.0. O reconhecimento da expressão facial das emoções é uma ferramenta para informação relativa às emoções do outro, além de regular a vida em sociedade. Salienta-se, que essa investigação é uma revisão bibliográfica de artigos científicos, livros e teses de doutoramento, encontrados nas bases de dados: Bvsalud, Sciencedirect, B-ON, Scielo, Medline, Lilacs e Tese-USP, entre os anos de 2010 e 2023. Vale dizer, que o referencial teórico serviu de sustentação para essa investigação, no sentido de discutir os conceitos-chave, com base na revisão da literatura científica relacionada com a temática dessa investigação e verificar o estado da arte dos estudos empíricos. Os resultados alcançados possibilitaram a criação da tabela periódica com as respectivas prototipagens das oito emoções sociais, desenvolvida no âmbito do Freitas-Magalhães Facial Action Coding System Laboratory (F-M FACS Lab), no ano de 2023, em coautoria com o Senhor Professor Doutor Freitas-Magalhães (Ph.D). Desta forma, espera-se que o estudo contribua para que outros pesquisadores obtenham, através dessa investigação, uma tabela periódica que sirva de bússola para nortear os caminhos da complexa cartografia das expressões faciais das emoções sociais. | pt_PT |
| dc.description.abstract | Nowadays, beyond survival and reproduction, social nature and emotions are two of the main characteristics of the human species. In this sense, recognizing the facial expression of social emotions is an immediate way to obtain information about the emotional and physiological state of others and to regulate life in society. Currently, the main scientific instrument for mapping markers of facial expression of emotion is the Freitas-Magalhães Facial Action Coding System (F-M FACS 5.0). Therefore, the current research proves to be relevant to discuss the results obtained from the following question, “what are the markers of facial expressions of social emotions such as envy, forgiveness, grief, guilt, hatred, jealousy, pride, and shame?” and, consequently, brings a contribution to broadening the understanding of the human face atlas in its numerous social interactions. Finding an answer to this question can provide information for the creation of the first periodic table of social emotions. Given the perspective described above, this study aims to identify the markers of facial expressions of social emotions, such as envy, forgiveness, grief, guilt, hatred, jealousy, pride, and shame, in a periodic table using the F-M FACS 5.0. This research is part of the areas of knowledge on the Psychology of Emotions and the F-M FACS 5.0 tool. The recognition of facial expressions of emotions is a tool for information about the emotions of others, as well as regulating life in society. It should be noted that this research is a bibliographic review of scientific articles, books, and doctoral theses found in the following databases: Bvsalud, Sciencedirect, B-ON, Scielo, Medline, Lilacs, and Tese-USP, between the years 2010 and 2023. It is worth mentioning that the theoretical framework served as support for this investigation in order to discuss the key concepts based on the review of the scientific literature related to the theme of this investigation verifying the state of the art of empirical studies. The results achieved made it possible to create the periodic table with the respective prototypes of the eight social emotions, developed within the Freitas-Magalhães Facial Action Coding System Laboratory (F-M FACS Lab) in 2023, in co-authorship with Professor Doctor Freitas-Magalhães (Ph.D). In this way, it is hoped that this study will contribute to other researchers obtaining, through this investigation, a periodic table that serves as a compass to guide the pathways of the complex cartography of facial expressions of social emotions. | pt_PT |
