Abstract(s)
no feminino.
The drug is currently identified as a public health problem that includes both legal drugs - alcohol - and illegal drugs, and these substances are also characterized as factors that disrupt society. Specifically in the case of women, when they present problems with alcohol and illegal substances or who have committed criminal offenses they are identified in a worse way when compared to men with the same problems. This seems to be based on society's stereotyped view of women and their role as a criminal agent incapable of committing crimes. This research deals with the problem of drug addiction and crime in women. Therefore, the empirical contribution of this qualitative study has as general objective to identify the possible specificities of the drug-crime relationship, in the female, where the results and discussion of the same are revealed. This study is mixed whose method is characterized by being exploratory, descriptive, transversal, based on the self-report and the perceptions of the respondents, using the survey method, through the use of interview technique. The sample of this study consists of 10 women with a history of drug use ranging from 24 to 56 years. The results made it possible to draw conclusions in order to meet the specificities of this population, in the context of prevention as well as intervention.
