Abstract(s)
A Teoria do Cuidado Transcultural citada por Leininger (1985) enfatiza que há diversidades no cuidado humano, com características que são identificáveis e que podem explicar e justificar a necessidade do cuidado transcultural de enfermagem, de forma que este se ajuste as crenças, valores e modos das culturas, para que um cuidado benéfico e significativo possa ser oferecido. Na sua visão transcultural, Leininger considera o ser humano inseparável do seu conhecimento cultural e social; refere que o cuidar humano é um fenômeno universal e que suas expressões, processos e padrões variam entre culturas.
Ainda Leininger (1991), refere que o cuidado Humano é Universal, sendo vivenciado nas diversas culturas, e, em sua Teoria sobre a Diversidade e Universalidade do Cuidado Cultural, enfatiza que o mesmo é necessário para o desenvolvimento da prática assistencial de enfermagem.
Esta teorista desvelou ainda o termo Transcultural como sendo um comparativo e análise de culturas em relação às práticas de cuidado de enfermagem, visando um atendimento significativo e eficaz às pessoas de acordo com seus valores culturais e seu contexto saúde-doença.
Com este projeto pretendeu-se conhecer a perspetiva com relação aos cuidados de enfermagem por um indivíduo de etnia cigana através de um estudo de caso. Com isso concluiu-se que a perceção do cuidado e saúde também se distinguem no que diz respeito a diferença de culturas.
The Transcultural care Theory mentioned by Leininger (1985) emphasizes that there is diversity in human care, with features that are identifiable and can explain and justify the need for transcultural care of nursing, so that it suits the beliefs, values and ways of cultures, for which a careful beneficial and significant can be offered. In his vision transcultural, Leininger considers the human being inseparable from his cultural knowledge and social; refers to the human care is a universal phenomenon and that its expressions, processes and standards vary between cultures. Still Leininger (1991), reports that the human care it’s Universal, it’s experienced in the various cultures, and, in his Theory about Diversity and Universality of the Cultural Care, emphasizes that this is necessary for the development of nursing care practice.
