Abstract(s)
A literatura defende que, indivíduos com adições a substâncias psicoativas que seguem um estilo de vida desviante aumentam o risco de vitimação colocando-se numa situação de vulnerabilidade acrescida. O presente trabalho tem como foco principal a análise de vivências experienciadas pelo indivíduo, após o início do consumo. A análise principal dá-nos respostas a diversos focos, não só a perceção destes indivíduos como vítimas, mas também a existência de indivíduos que são vítimas e vitimam outros. A dinâmica familiar é também analisada, principalmente a forma como encaram e são encarados pela família após o início dos consumos e de forma isso influencia o progresso da sua vida. Para tal realizamos um estudo descritivo e exploratório, com base no método de inquérito por questionário e também por entrevista. Este estudo contou com uma amostra de 12 participantes com idades entre os 22 e 64 anos (M= 45.08; DP = 13.93), que corroboram a existência de situações de vitimação. Foi possível aferir que a maioria das vítimas conhecia os seus agressores e que atribuem a culpa da vitimação ao excesso do consumo. O estudo analisa, também, as relações familiares desta população chegando a conclusões como, a maioria do consumos são iniciados devido a separações e perdas no seio familiar, a vida familiar é, também, onde existe uma maior ruptura de relações devido ao consumo. No entanto é na família e no melhoramento das relações com as mesmas que incide a visão futura da maioria dos participantes, denotando a importância das famílias na reabilitação e reinserção dos indivíduos.
The literature argues that individuals with addictions who follow a deviant lifestyle increase the risk of victimization by placing themselves in a situation of increased vulnerability. That said, the present work has as main focus the analysis of experiences experienced by the individual, after the beginning of consumption. The main analysis gives us answers to several focuses, not only the perception of these individuals as victims but also the existence of individuals who are victims and victimize others. Family dynamics are also analyzed, mainly the way they see and are seen by the family after the start of consumption and how this influences the progress of their life. The results obtained are based on a sample of 12 participants who corroborate the existence of situations of victimization in this population. It was possible to verify that the majority of the victims knew their aggressors and those they blame the victimization for the excessive consumption. The study also analyzes the family relationships of this population, reaching conclusions such as, most consumption are initiated due to separations and losses within the family, family life is also where there is a greater rupture of relationships due to consumption. However, it is in the family and in the improvement of relationships with them that the future vision of most of the participants focuses, denoting the importance of families in the rehabilitation and reinsertion of individuals.
