Abstract(s)
Introduction: As in all areas of Dental Medicine, also in Endodontics, there are notable changes and updates, with the purpose of conferring greater safety in the treatments, trying to reduce the difficulties and the dangers that can lead to an operative failure, both the level of materials used and the way in which they are manufactured. Objective and Methodology: The objective of this work is to carry out a bibliographical review about the evolution of Endodontic systems over the years, comparing the mechanized systems ProTaper® Gold, the predecessor system ProTaper® Universal and ProTaper® Next. Conclusions: In this bibliographic review, we can see the differences between these systems, in terms of materials used, flexibility and safety, type of cut and time-saving during e Endodontic procedures.
