Abstract(s)
Objetivo: Analisar a bibliografia científica disponível no que concerne aos fatores etiológicos da perda precoce de dentes ântero-superiores decíduos, assim como, o seu impacto no crescimento e desenvolvimento infantil.
Metodologia: Para a realização deste trabalho de revisão foi realizada uma pesquisa bibliográfica de artigos publicados em revistas internacionais indexadas, disponibilizados nas bases de dados: PubMed e B-On, entre outubro de 2018 e março de 2019. Foram definidos os termos de pesquisa, os quais foram articulados através do marcador booleano AND e estipulados critérios de inclusão e exclusão para a seleção dos artigos. No total foram analisados 29 artigos na íntegra.
Tópico abordado: A perda de dentes decíduos ântero-superiores ocorre com elevada frequência em crianças muito jovens. Esta condição pode apresentar várias etiologias e quando verificada na criança pode acometer várias sequelas no crescimento e desenvolvimento infantil, nomeadamente, interferir nas funções associadas ao sistema estomatognático, na estética e, consequentemente, no relacionamento da criança com os seus pares.
Goal: Analyze the scientific literature available within the etiological factors of premature loss of primary anterosuperior teeth, as well as, its impact on the child’s growth and development. Method: For the preparation of this review was carried out a literature search published in international magazines available in databases: PubMed and B-On, between October 2018 and March 2019. The research terms were defined, which were articulated through the Boolean marker AND and were stipulated the inclusion and exclusion criteria for the selection of the articles. Thus, 29 articles were full analyzed. Subject: The loss of primary anterosuperior teeth happens frequently in very young children. This condition can present several etiologies and when verified can affect several sequels in the child’s growth and development, namely, interfers in the functions associated with the stomatognatic system, aesthetics and, consequently, the relationship between the child and its peers.
