Abstract(s)
Objetivo: Determinar a efetividade da realidade virtual na funcionalidade e espasticidade nos membros superiores em pacientes com sequelas de Acidente Vascular Encefálico (AVE).
Metodologia: Pesquisa computadorizada realizada utilizando a combinação de palavras-chave: (“virtual therapy” OR “virtual rehabilitation”) AND (stroke) para as bases dados PubMed, CENTRAL e Lilacs. Para a base de dados PEDro e SciELO utilizou-se (“virtual therapy” / “virtual rehabilitation”) com o termo relacionado com a condição (“stroke”). A qualidade metodológica foi analisada através da escala de PEDro.
Resultados: Nesta revisão foram incluídos 5 artigos que cumpriram os critérios de elegibilidade com um total de 217 participantes e com média aritmética de 7/10 na escala de PEDro.
Conclusão: A realidade virtual parece promover a melhoria da funcionalidade e redução da espasticidade nos membros superiores em pacientes com sequelas do Acidente Vascular Encefálico (AVE).
