Abstract(s)
Objetivo: identificar os efeitos do treino de equilíbrio em atletas com instabilidade tibiotársica. Metodologia: a pesquisa foi realizada na língua inglesa utilizando o PubMed, PEDro, Web of Science e SPORTDiscus através da EBSCOhost. Foram utilizadas as palavras chave “balance training”, “ankle” e “athletes” com as combinações boleanas AND que irá formar a expressão de pesquisa “balance training” AND “ankle” AND “athletes”. Resultados: Esta revisão inclui 7 artigos que respeitam todos os critérios de elegibilidade, com uma média de 6,9/10 na escala de qualidade metodológica de PEDro, com um total de 312 participantes sendo que 135 são do sexo feminino e 127 do sexo masculino (excluindo um artigo onde não foi descrito o género dos 50 participantes) e uma média de idades de 24,56 anos. Conclusão: o treino de equilíbrio aparentou ser eficaz relativamente ao ganho de força muscular, senso de posição articular e no equilíbrio.
