Abstract(s)
A presente dissertação intitula-se: Delinquência Juvenil: O Papel das Casas de Acolhimento Residencial na prevenção da delinquência em jovens de risco.
Encontra-se organizada por duas partes, o enquadramento teórico onde consta uma revisão teórica composta inicialmente por questões relacionadas com o acolhimento residencial em Portugal e questões legais do mesmo. De seguida, a definição da delinquência juvenil sob três perspetivas, e as teorias explicativas da mesma. De forma a concluir a parte teórica deste estudo, as características sociodemográficas da delinquência juvenil, a relação vínculos afetivos vs delinquência e as abordagens preventivas da delinquência juvenil.
Na segunda parte desta dissertação, enquadramento prático, é descrito o método, a análise, discussão e reflexões finais. Trata-se de uma investigação direcionada a jovens em acolhimento residencial, centrada no papel das casas de acolhimento residencial na prevenção da delinquência juvenil em jovens de risco. Pretende-se assim agir no sentido da prevenção da Delinquência juvenil de forma a combater este fenómeno em constante desenvolvimento.
This dissertation is entitled: Juvenile Delinquency: The Role of Residential Reception Houses in the prevention of delinquency in at-risk youth. It is organized by two parts, the theoretical framework that contains a theoretical review composed initially of issues related to residential reception in Portugal and legal issues of the same. Next, the definition of juvenile delinquency from three perspectives, and the explanatory theories of it. In order to conclude the theoretical part of this study, the sociodemographic characteristics of juvenile delinquency, the relationship between affective bonds vs. delinquency and the preventive approaches to juvenile delinquency. In the second part of this dissertation, practical framework, the method, analysis, discussion and final reflections are described. This is an investigation aimed at young people in residential care, focusing on the role of residential care homes in preventing juvenile delinquency in at-risk young people. The aim is to act towards the prevention of juvenile delinquency in order to combat this phenomenon in constant development.
