Abstract(s)
Este projeto de graduação, apresenta uma investigação qualitativa sobre a vitimação de idosos, abordando crimes como violĂȘncia fĂsica, violĂȘncia econĂłmica, violĂȘncia psicolĂłgica, entre outras, no contexto de envelhecimento. Tendo como objetivo compreender como os idosos sĂŁo alvo desses crimes, a perceção dos mesmos sobre este fenĂłmeno e ainda as dificuldades que enfrentam para denunciĂĄ-los.
Este estudo propĂ”e a utilização de entrevistas abertas / nĂŁo estruturadas como principal ferramenta. A escolha deste tipo de ferramenta Ă© a mais aconselhĂĄvel para a compreensĂŁo de temas sensĂveis e complexos como este, permitindo assim registar a experiĂȘncia subjetiva dos idosos e proporcionando uma compreensĂŁo mais profunda e humanizada relativamente a esta problemĂĄtica.
Com esta proposta empĂrica, pretende-se contribuir para uma sensibilização social maior e criar reflexĂ”es sobre estratĂ©gias de apoio e prevenção que possam garantir direitos e dignidade para os idosos.
This graduation project presents a qualitative investigation about the victimization of elderly people, addresses crimes such as physical violence, economic violence, psychological violence, among others in the aging context. The investigation aims to understand how the elderly are targets of these kinds of crimes, to understand their perception of this phenomenon and also the difficulties that they face to report the cases. This study proposes the use of open / unstructured interviews as the main tool. The choice of this type of tool is the most recommended in order to understand sensitive and complex topics such as this one, thus allowing the subjective experience of these elderly people to be registered and providing a deeper and more humanized understanding of this problem. Based on this empirical proposal, it is intended to contribute to a greater social awareness and create reflections on support and prevention strategies that can guarantee rights and dignity for the elderly.
