Abstract(s)
Este trabalho integra-se como parte da disciplina de Estágio e Projeto de Graduação do curso de Ciências Empresariais da Universidade Fernando Pessoa. Desenvolvido sobre a temática de Sustentabilidade nas Organizações, apresenta um caso de estudo sobre a IKEA, e a forma como esta engloba a sustentabilidade nas suas atividades de produção e a incute no seu meio social, económico e ambiental. Aborda questões envolventes à gestão de empresas, à discussão do desenvolvimento sustentável e à responsabilidade social. O objetivo geral do presente projeto é analisar, qualitativamente, compreender e divulgar a forma como a IKEA a se posiciona em relação à sustentabilidade e quais os benefícios que as suas ações tem para com a sociedade. Para tal, a busca de informação proveio de todos os materiais disponíveis online e do estágio realizado na IKEA Industry Paços de Ferreira, que permitirá ter uma visão clara sobre as várias práticas em curso na empresa.
This work is integrated as part of the discipline Internship and graduation project of the course Business Sciences at the University Fernando Pessoa. Developed on the theme Sustainability in Organizations, this is a case of study about, and the way it incorporates sustainability into its productive activities an inserts it into its social, economic and environmental environment. Addresses issues involving business management, discussion on sustainable development, social responsibility, among other topics. The general objective of this project is to qualitatively analyze, understand and disseminate how IKEA positions itself in relation to sustainability and what benefits its actions bring to society. To do so, the information search came from all the materials available online and from the internship carried out at IKEA Industry Paços de Ferreira, which will provide a clear insight into the various practices underway at the company.
