Abstract(s)

If multiculturalism is promoted at school, cultural enrichment will have an impact, valuing cultural diversity and giving it due equity and justice. In an increasingly globalized and interconnected world, where interaction between people from different cultures is the norm, this approach is essential. The importance of multicultural education lies in several important aspects that contribute to the holistic development of the individual and the strengthening of society. Multiculturalism at school refers to the creation of an inclusive and respectful environment that values and celebrates the cultural diversity of the students' different countries of origin. After a series of activities carried out within the institution with regard to multicultural inclusion, where students of different nationalities carried out dynamics where they shared their traditions, cuisine, clothing, etc. in different ways. A semi-structured interview will be carried out with a group of 7 students aged between 13 and 15, in which the students will be able to express their emotions and reflect on their participation. It will help them to identify the aspects of integration that were most meaningful to them and to reflect on the impact of the activities, exploring their sense of belonging and acceptance. In this way, with the interview study carried out with 7 of the students in a qualitative way, we will be able to obtain detailed information about the experiences, opinions and perceptions of the participants through open questions to provide the correct data.
