Abstract(s)
O presente projeto de graduação tem como principal objetivo estudar a relação entre o abuso sexual na infância e de que forma este influencia a autoestima das vítimas na idade adulta.
Para tal, foi adotada uma abordagem metodológica mista, combinando instrumentos como a Escala de Autoestima de Rosenberg e entrevistas semiestruturadas a vítimas adultas de abuso sexual na infância.
Através desta investigação, espera-se identificar padrões associados à baixa autoestima, assim como fatores que influenciam o percurso emocional e relacional das vítimas.
Os resultados vão contribuir para uma melhor compreensão dos efeitos duradouros do abuso sexual infantil e para o desenvolvimento de estratégias de apoio mais eficazes.
This undergraduate project aims to study the relationship between childhood sexual abuse and how it influences victims’ self-esteem in adulthood. To this end, a mixed methodological approach was adopted, combining instruments such as the Rosenberg Self-Esteem Scale and semi-structured interviews with adult survivors of childhood sexual abuse. This research seeks to identify patterns associated with low self-esteem, as well as factors that influence the emotional and relational trajectories of the victims. The results will contribute to a better understanding of the long-lasting effects of childhood sexual abuse and the development of more effective support strategies.
