Abstract(s)
Este trabalho foi realizado com o propósito de descrever dois protocolos de concentrados plaquetários, que representam uma grande inovação na medicina dentária, principalmente na área da cirurgia.
O objetivo principal da cirurgia moderna, é o de conseguir ser a menos invasiva possível e de ter um grande sucesso ao nível de cura tecidular; nos últimos anos foram desenvolvidas novas tecnologias para chegar aos objetivos desejados, entre eles, o PRGF e o PRF são umas das mais utilizadas.
A utilização destes concentrados plaquetários, através das propriedades imunológicas e biológicas dos seus componentes, mostraram uma grande versatilidade e uma melhoria em termos temporais e qualitativos na formação de novos tecidos.
Neste trabalho, são descritos os protocolos e as aplicações clínicas destes concentrados plaquetários, e além disso, são descritas as vantagens, as desvantagens, as diferenças e as evoluções que ocorreram desde um protocolo até ao outro.
This work was carried out with the purpose to describe two protocols of platelets concentrates, which represent a great innovation in dentistry, mostly in the area of surgery. The main objective of modern surgery, is to be the less invasive as possible and to have great success at level of tissue healing; in the last years, new technologies have been developed to achieve those objectives, among them, PRGF and PRF are one of the most used. The use of these platelets concentrates, with the immunological and biological properties of their components, showed great versatility and an improvement in temporal and qualitative terms in the formation of new tissues. In this work, there are described protocols and clinical applications of these platelets concentrates. Furthermore, here are reported the benefit, the disadvantages, the differences and the evolutions that have occurred from one protocol to another.
