Abstract(s)
A questão da violência contra as mulheres é um problema bastante impactante e estrutural, sendo essencial compreender todas as suas vertentes, para que seja possível elaborar sistemas eficazes de proteção e prevenção, através da partilha de informação e consciencialização, em vários setores da sociedade.
Neste projeto será abordado as diferentes formas de violência de género com especial foco no femicídio, a forma mais extrema desta violência.
O Femicídio tipifica a morte violenta da mulher pelo seu género e é impulsionado por vários fatores, como a cultura do machismo, a objetificação da mulher, a perpetuação de estereótipos de género, bem como a impunidade e a falta de resposta efetiva por parte das entidades responsáveis. Importante realçar que todos estes fatores contribuem para a violência de género, culminando em casos de femicídio.
Este projeto tem como objetivo informar, sensibilizar e prevenir o femicídio. A prevenção será feita através de um programa de intervenção num Projeto Socioeducativo da região do Porto, com jovens entre os 15 e 18 anos e terá 10 sessões sendo que cada uma delas aborda um tópico diferente. Espera-se então, que este projeto de graduação analise amplamente a violência de género, as suas consequências, contribuindo assim para a conscientização e promoção de medidas para prevenção e erradicação deste problema na nossa sociedade.
The issue of violence against women is a very impactful and structural problem, and it is essential to understand all its aspects so that effective protection and prevention systems can be devised by sharing information and raising awareness in various sectors of society. This project will look at the different forms of gender-based violence, with a special focus on femicide, the most extreme form of this violence. Femicide typifies the violent death of a woman because of her gender and is driven by various factors, such as the culture of machismo, the objectification of women, the perpetuation of gender stereotypes, as well as impunity and the lack of an effective response from the responsible bodies. It's important to note that all these factors contribute to gender-based violence, culminating in cases of femicide. This project aims to inform, raise awareness, and prevent femicide. Prevention will be carried out through an intervention program in a socio-educational project in the Porto region, with young people aged between 15 and 18, and will have 10 sessions, each of which will deal with a different topic. It is hoped that this graduation project will broadly analyse gender violence and its consequences, thus contributing to raising awareness and promoting measures to prevent and eradicate this problem in our society.
