A identificação da melhor estratégia de internacionalização e o conhecimento do mercado
alvo poderá significar o caminho para enfrentar a nova conjuntura global em que as
empresas se encontram.
O presente trabalho tem como objectivo analisar o potencial de mercado do Reino Unido
para a expansão internacional da Gráfica Ideal a fim de identificar a melhor estratégica
para fazer crescer o seu negócio.
Neste contexto, após uma análise teórica sobre o processo de internacionalização de uma
empresa, estudou-se a estrutura, evolução e dimensão do principal mercado alvo da Gráfica
Ideal, especialmente direccionado a embalagens alimentares que representa actualmente
90% do seu volume de facturação.
Para desenvolver este tema foram estabelecidos contactos com empresas distribuidoras de
embalagens alimentares com elevada experiência/conhecimento local e reputação no
Reino, nomeadamente, a GM Packaging, Greenearth Food Packaging, WK Thomas e TK
Packaging.
Os métodos utilizados foram obtidos a partir de uma análise crítica das concepções teóricas
e práticas sobre o assunto, através da análise e visitas aos potenciais clientes. Permitiu
chegar a elaborações de propostas reais que actualmente estão em negociações.
The identification of the best internationalization strategy and the knowledge of the target market could mean the way for the European companies to face the currently global situation. The target of this work is to analyse the UK market potential and to identify the best commercial strategy in order to expand/grow the Gráfica Ideal business to international market. In this way, after a theoretical analysis about internationalization company process, we have studied the structure, evolution and dimension of the target market in respect of Gráfica Ideal, focus on food packaging that means 90% turnover. Following the literature review, we have done a serious market research in UK, so we have contacted the most reputation/experience local companies regarding to Food Packaging Distributors, such as: GM Packaging, Greenearth Food Packaging, WK Thomas e TK Packaging.
