Abstract(s)
O trabalho sexual é, ainda hoje, nacional e internacionalmente, um tema envolto de alguma controvérsia. É também alvo de diferentes enquadramentos jurídicos, espelhando uma pluralidade de entendimentos sociais, culturais e políticos. O presente projeto, de natureza qualitativa, com recurso à entrevista em profundidade, foi pensado no sentido de apurar o perfil sociodemográfico dos trabalhadores do sexo que recorrem a serviços de suporte social prestado por instituições de solidariedade social, assim como aferir os seus percursos de vida, principais dificuldades e pedidos de ajuda.

It is also the target of different legal frameworks, reflecting a plurality of social, cultural and political understandings. This project, of a qualitative nature, using in-depth interviews, was designed to ascertain the socio-demographic profile of sex workers who use social support services provided by charitable institutions, as well as to assess their life paths, main difficulties and requests for help.
