Abstract(s)
A conceção de estética dentária na busca de um sorriso harmonioso leva a que se procure cada vez mais a utilização de materiais restauradores, com propriedades clinicas e óticas semelhantes, tanto quanto possível, às propriedades do dente natural. Para uma correta aplicação, o clinico deve saber quais os materiais que dispõem e as suas características, para que possa tomar o melhor partido destes, proporcionando o melhor tratamento possível ao paciente.
Este trabalho consiste numa revisão narrativa sistematizada mas em que se opta por considerar alguns critérios de inclusão e exclusão na escolha de artigos e tem como objetivo:
Avaliar entre os materiais cerâmicos usados para restaurações estéticas, e entre as suas diferentes aplicações e propriedades, quais os mais indicados para as variadas situações clínicas que possam surgir.
The conception of dental aesthetics in the search for a harmonious smile leads to an increasing demand for the use of restorative materials with clinical and optical properties similar as much as possible to natural tooth. For a correct application, the clinician should know what materials they have and their characteristics to be able to make the best choice providing the best possible treatment to the patient. This paper consists of a systematized narrative review where was adopted some inclusion and exclusion criteria in the choice of articles and has the goal of: Evaluate among the ceramic materials used for aesthetic restorations, and different applications and properties, which are best suited for the different clinical situations that may appear.
