Objectivo: O objectivo do presente estudo é a avaliação da eficácia clínica de hidroterapia em pacientes com Fibromialgia.
Metodologia: Para identificar os artigos bibliográficos mencionados no estudo, foram efectuadas pesquisas nas seguintes bases de dados: Pubmed/Medline, Cochrane Central, B-on, PEDro, Elsevier. Este estudo vem referir 10 estudos randomizados controlados, englobando no mesmo estudo pelo menos um grupo de hidroterapia com pacientes com F obedecendo aos critérios de inclusão.
Resultados: Este estudo inclui um total de 404 pacientes, todos eles do sexo feminino, com idades compreendidas entre 18 e 73 anos. A avaliação da qualidade científica destes dez artigos foi segundo a escala de PEDro, obtendo-se uma média de 7 em 10.
Conclusão: A adição de hidroterapia no programa de terapia para pacientes com FM, mostra-se eficaz para diminuir o impacto da doença e melhorar a qualidade de vida do paciente.
