Abstract(s)

This Project was based on a quantitative, descriptive cross-sectional methodology using no accidental for convenience, and its general objective was to characterize the university students at UFP - Porto, with regards to risk behaviors: alcohol, drugs and tobacco. The example which contributes to the study corresponds to 10% of the total number of students who attend UFP - Porto, with 149 students having participated in the study. The instrument used for information was the questionnaire, with the information being processed on the SPSS program, version 16.0. In view of the fact that respondents are university students, existed curiosity to identify whether these had risk behaviors: with alcohol, drugs and tobacco. The subjects of this study were mainly female, aged between 18 and 46. From the study we could verify that the use of alcohol and tobacco is more than 50% and that drugs were not a substance most used by the youth.
