Abstract(s)
Objetivos: O objetivo deste estudo é avaliar a importância e a eficácia das diferentes técnicas e instrumentos fisioterapêuticos na reabilitação de pacientes com Paralisa Facial Periférica, baseados em ensaios clínicos randomizados controlados. Metodologia: Pesquisa computorizada dos artigos nas bases de dados B-ON, PEDro, PubMed, EBSCO e SciELO para identificar ensaios clínicos randomizados controlados que avaliam a intervenção da Fisioterapia na Paralisia Facial Periférica. Resultados: Neste estudo foram incluídos 7 artigos, com um total de 320 participantes de ambos os sexos e com idades entre os 15 e os 73 anos, sendo a média de indivíduos 45,71 por estudo. A qualidade metodológica dos artigos utilizados, foi avaliada com recurso à escala de PEDro, tendo-se obtido um score médio de 5,71. Conclusão: Após a análise dos estudos, verificou-se que a fisioterapia desempenha um papel importante na reabilitação de pacientes com Paralisa Facial Periférica, quando mais precocemente esta for iniciada, melhor será o seu prognóstico.

Results: This study included seven studies with a total of 320 participants of both sexes and aged between 15 and 73 years, with an average of 45.71 individuals for study. The methodological quality of the articles was assessed using the PEDro scale, yielding an average score of 5,71. Conclusion: After analyzing the studies, it was found that physical therapy plays an important role in the rehabilitation of patients with Peripheral Facial Paralysis, the earlier it will started, better is the prognosis.
