É hoje fundamental que o Médico Dentista compreenda os critérios e conceitos
fundamentais para a construção de um sorriso harmonioso.
O objetivo do presente trabalho é rever a literatura no que concerne à análise do setor
dentário anterior numa perspetiva morfológica, relacionando-o com a estética do sorriso.
Discute-se a noção da ilusão de ótica na dentição.
Foi realizada uma pesquisa bibliográfica (2008 - 2018) utilizando os motores de busca:
Pubmed, B-on e Google Académico.
O sorriso estético é influenciado por quatro parâmetros: a estética facial; a estética
periodontal; a macroestética e microstética. No que concerne aos efeitos de ilusão ótica
para um sorriso estético importa analisar quatro perspetivas nomeadamente: a perspetiva
paralela; a perspetiva por contraste; a perspetiva de cor e a perspetiva de sorriso mais
largo ou estreito.
Os padrões de beleza atuais associam-se a aparência natural e um sorriso harmonioso. A
compreensão da morfologia do setor dentário anterior e dos vários efeitos de ilusão de
ótica na cavidade oral são muito procurados e utilizados neste contexto com resultados
muito satisfatórios em contexto clínico.
These days, is fundamental that the Doctor Dentist understands the parameters and the fundamental concepts for the construction of a hormonious smile. The goal of the present work is to review the literature concerning the analysis of previous dental sector in a morphological perspective, relating it to the aesthetics of the smile. Is discussed the notion of the optical illusion in the dentition. An bibliographic search was performed (2008 - 2018) using the search engines: Pubmed, B-on and Google Scholar. The aesthetics smile is influenced by four parameters: facial aesthetics; periodontal aesthetics; the macro esthetic and micro esthetic. With regard to the effects of optical illusion for an aesthetic smile, it is important to analyze four perspectives, namely: the parallel perspective; the perspective by contrast; the color perspective; and the broader or narrower smile perspective. The current standards of beauty are associated with a natural appearance and a harmonious smile. The understanding of the morphology of the previous dental sector and the several effects of optical illusion in the oral cavity are very wanted and used in this context with very satisfactory results in clinical context.
