A pesquisa apresenta uma análise da importância da leitura para a formação intelectual
da sociedade, e conseqüentemente sua evolução enquanto nação. É uma reflexão sobre o
papel do Ensino Fundamental na formação inicial do leitor. Nesse contexto, a leitura é
vista como a ponte para o processo educacional eficiente, proporcionando a formação
integral do indivíduo, no entanto, os educadores se vêem impotentes face aos problemas
levantados pela leitura. È necessário que se investigue os fatores determinantes das
motivações para o desenvolvimento da leitura. È importante que se compreenda cada
papel na formação leitora, escola, família e sociedade organizada. Até que ponto a
escola cumpre o seu papel social, será que família vem fazendo o seu papel de
contribuir com a escola, como a sociedade organizada posiciona-se na garantia dessa
prática, dar condições para o desenvolvimento de leitores competentes?São reflexões
que se devem fazer enquanto co-responsáveis pelo processo de formação de leitores, no
passo em que, se a escola cumprisse com seu ofício, não teríamos um índice tão
alarmante de analfabetismo no país. Diante dessas questões é preciso que se conheça
como se dar o processo de construção da motivação para a leitura, é imprescindível que
o próprio aluno sinta necessidade da leitura, da pesquisa. Para tanto, o motivador
primordial nesse processo é exatamente quem estiver mediando, em casa a família, na
escola o professor. Falar em motivação para a leitura é analisar de que forma podemos
estar veiculando o ato de ler como a necessidade humana. È fazer com que crianças e
jovens compreendam o valor social da leitura.The research presents an analysis of the importance of reading for the intellectual
formation of society, and therefore its evolution as a nation. It is a reflection on the role
of primary education in the reader's initial training. In this context, the reading is seen as
the bridge to the efficient educational process, providing the integral formation of the
individual, however, educators find themselves powerless deal with threats posed by
reading. It is necessary to investigate the determinants of the motivations for the
development of reading. It is important to understand each role in reader training,
school, family and organized society. The extent to which the school fulfills its social
role does family has been doing its part to contribute to the school, such as organized
society stands on ensuring this practice, provide conditions for the development of
competent readers? They are reflections that They should do as co-responsible for the
players training process, the step that if the school fulfilled with their craft, we would
not have such an alarming rate of illiteracy in the country. Faced with these issues it is
necessary to know how to get the process of building the motivation to read, it is
essential that the students themselves feel the need to read, research. Therefore, the
primary motivator in this process is exactly who is mediating, home to family, school
teacher. Speaking of motivation to read is to examine how we can be conveying the act
of reading as a human need. It is to make children and youth understand the social value
of reading.
