Abstract(s)
O presente projeto de graduação tem como objetivo fulcral a elaboração de uma investigação que pretende aprofundar conhecimentos relativos Ă relação entre a psicopatia e a reincidĂȘncia criminal em jovens institucionalizados em centros educativos. Deste modo, divide-se em duas partes distintas, primeiramente possui uma revisĂŁo da literatura sobre o fenĂłmeno da delinquĂȘncia juvenil e as teorias explicativas em torno deste conceito, a resposta legal do respetivo fenĂłmeno (Lei Tutelar Educativa) e simultaneamente ambiciona-se compreender quais os fatores preditivos da reincidĂȘncia e o fenĂłmeno da psicopatia.
Numa segunda parte, encontra-se planificado um projeto de intervenção com o intuito de verificar se os menores institucionalizados apresentam caracterĂsticas psicopatas que predisponham a adoção de comportamentos desviantes reincidentes, assim como os fatores a que estes estĂŁo expostos diariamente, quer em contexto exterior quer em contexto institucional. Os resultados obtidos apĂłs a conclusĂŁo deste estudo permitirĂŁo identificar as caracterĂsticas individuais de cada jovem e a partir daĂ concluir quais os que apresentam uma maior probabilidade de reincidĂȘncia no futuro. Uma vez que sĂŁo escassos as investigaçÔes elaboradas neste Ăąmbito, nomeadamente em Portugal, verifica-se uma necessidade de desenvolver mais estudos neste contexto.
This graduation project aims at developing a core research that aims to deepen knowledge about the relationship between psychopathy and criminal recidivism in youngsters institutionalized in educational centers. In this way, is divided into two distinct parts, first have a review of the literature on juvenile delinquency and explanatory theories around this concept, the legal response of the respective phenomenon ( Educational Guardianship Law ) and simultaneously aims to understand which factors predictive of recidivism and the phenomenon of psychopathy . In a second part, there is planned an intervention project in order to verify that minors institutionalized psychopaths have characteristics that predispose the adoption of deviant behavior repeat offenders, as well as factors that they are exposed to daily , either in context or in foreign institutional context . The results obtained after the completion of this study will identify the individual characteristics of each young person and from there to conclude which ones are more likely to recur in the future. Since there are few investigations prepared in this context, notably in Portugal, there is a need for further studies in this context.
