Abstract(s)
É conhecida a crescente utilização das redes sociais e da internet por parte dos jovens portugueses. E também há uma crescente informação relativamente aos casos de crimes que ocorrem online. É verdade que jovens e adultos utilizam a internet diariamente, contudo há uma especial atenção para os menores, uma vez que são o público-alvo mais vulnerável para a ocorrência destes crimes. Tudo se tornou mais simples e fácil desde a evolução da internet ao aparecimento das redes sociais. Os menores passam cada vez menos tempo a brincar ao ar livre e ate mesmo a socializar entre eles. As conversas em grupo passaram para o meio digital e os encontros passaram a ser marcados online. Numa sociedade cada vez mais envolta ao ecrã e cada vez menos autónoma.
O presente estudo tem como objetivo abordar o fenómeno do grooming online, mais concretamente, a perceção dos educadores relativamente a este fenómeno e se tinham conhecimento dele. Nesta sequência, sendo este projeto de graduação uma proposta de realização de uma investigação, a mesma terá como instrumento a realização de um inquérito aos educadores relativamente à sua perceção acerca do grooming, pretendendo esclarecer se de facto tinham conhecimento da existência deste fenómeno.
It is known of the increasing use of social networks and the Internet by the Portuguese youth. And there is also a growing information regarding the cases of crimes occurring online. It is true that both young people and adults use the Internet daily, but there is a special attention to minors, as they are the most vulnerable target audience for the occurrence of these crimes. Everything has become simpler and easier since the evolution of the Internet to the emergence of social networks. Minors spend less time playing outdoors and even socializing between them. Group conversations went to the digital media and the meetings started to be marked online. In a society increasingly wrapped around the screen and becoming less autonomous. The present study aims to address the phenomenon of online grooming, more specifically, the perception of educators regarding this phenomenon and if they were aware of it. In this respect, as this graduation project is a proposal for conducting an investigation, it will have as an instrument an inquiry to educators regarding their perception of grooming, intending to clarify whether they actually had knowledge of the existence of this phenomenon.
