O tema do presente trabalho foi intitulado de âUm Panorama Abrangente da ViolĂȘncia Contra a Mulher Causas e ConsequĂȘnciasâ, foi escolhido e ponderado apĂłs algumas reflexĂ”es das vĂĄrias hipĂłteses a nĂvel desta ĂĄrea, pois trata-se de um grande problema na sociedade atual que jĂĄ perpĂ©tua a milhares de anos. A violĂȘncia Ă© uma problemĂĄtica preocupante na sociedade, principalmente a violĂȘncia contra a mulher que Ă© a mais frequente. Ă diĂĄrio o esforço das polĂcias, criminologia, psicologia e dos tribunais para combater esta problemĂĄtica, com tendĂȘncia a aumentar a cada dia que passa.
Esta problemĂĄtica nĂŁo Ă© atual, mas sim uma narrativa que prevalece hĂĄ sĂ©culos, abrangendo inĂșmeras culturas e sociedades ao redor do mundo. Desde os tempos antigos que as mulheres enfrentam a descriminação, desigualdade de direitos e violĂȘncia fĂsica, sexual e emocional. Esta violĂȘncia tem as suas raĂzes da visĂŁo patriarcal que subordina as mulheres aos homens, perpetuando um sistema de poder desigual.
A violĂȘncia contra a mulher na sociedade atual Ă© impulsionada por diversas causas interligadas. Normas patriarcais e desigualdades de gĂ©nero, falta de educação relativamente aos direitos das mulheres e estereĂłtipos prejudiciais sĂŁo alguns dos fatores. A impunidade dos agressores, a cultura do silĂȘncio e a tolerĂąncia Ă violĂȘncia domĂ©stica tambĂ©m contribuem. AlĂ©m disto, fatores socioeconĂłmicos como a pobreza e a desigualdade social podem aumentar a incidĂȘncia de violĂȘncia.
A violĂȘncia pode se desmontar de vĂĄrias formas de abuso como o fĂsico, psicolĂłgico, sexual, econĂłmico e emocional. Estas formas de violĂȘncia muitas vezes ocorrem em relacionamentos prĂłximos como casais e famĂlia. Estas vĂtimas enfrentam consequĂȘncias devastadoras que podem durar toda a vida. A violĂȘncia pode levar a traumas profundos, problemas de saĂșde mental como a ansiedade e depressĂŁo e dificuldades em se relacionar com outras pessoas.
The theme of this work, entitled "A Comprehensive Overview of Violence Against Women - Causes and Consequences", was chosen and considered after some reflection on the various hypotheses in this area, as it is a major problem in today's society that has been going on for thousands of years. Violence is a worrying problem in society, especially violence against women, which is the most common. The efforts of the police, criminology, psychology and the courts to combat this problem are daily increasing. This is not a current problem, but a narrative that has prevailed for centuries, spanning countless cultures and societies around the world. Since ancient times, women have faced discrimination, unequal rights and physical, sexual and emotional violence. This violence has its roots in the patriarchal vision that subordinates women to men, perpetuating a system of unequal power. Violence against women in today's society is driven by several interconnected causes. Patriarchal norms and gender inequalities, lack of education about women's rights and harmful stereotypes are some of the factors. The impunity of perpetrators, the culture of silence and tolerance of domestic violence also contribute. In addition, socio-economic factors such as poverty and social inequality can increase the incidence of violence. Violence can be broken down into various forms of abuse such as physical, psychological, sexual, economic and emotional. These forms of violence often occur in close relationships such as couples and families. These victims face devastating consequences that can last a lifetime. Violence can lead to deep trauma, mental health problems such as anxiety and depression and difficulties in relating to other people.
