Procedendo à historiografia do conhecimento antropológico é legítimo equacionarmos o grau de associação/dissociação entre a antropologia e os museus antropológicos, relacionando-o com os diferentes mecanismos de objectivação do saber a que a disciplina recorreu ao longo do seu desenvolvimento. Centrando a nossa atenção sobre as duas últimas décadas, neste artigo propomo-nos analisar o recente movimento de reaproximação, verificado a partir do início dos anos 80, entre a antropologia e a instituição museológica/prática museográfica, equacionando-o com as reformulações disciplinares contemporâneas. Ou seja, relacionando-o com as rupturas epistemológicas e ideológicas contemporâneas e com o tipo de conhecimento antropológico a elas subjacente. While working in historiography of the anthropological knowledge it appears as coherent to study the level of association/dissociation between anthropology and anthropological museums, relating this level to the different mechanisms of objectivation of knowledge which the discipline has been utilizing during its development. Focusing our attention on the two last decades, this paper aims to analize the recent movement of approach of anthropology and the museological institution/museographic practice, which took peace in the beginning of the 1980s, studying it together with the comtemporary reformulations of the discipline. Thus relating the approach movement to the epistemological and ideological contemporary disruptures as well as to the type of anthropological knowledge they underlying.
