Este livro insere-se no âmbito da realização do 9º Congresso Nacional e 7º Congresso Internacional de Ginástica da Federação de Ginástica de Portugal, sob o tema: “Ginástica na Sociedade Global”, que decorreu na Universidade de Trás-osMontes e Alto Douro, entre os dias 11 e 13 outubro de 2024. Os Anais do Congresso resultam da coleção das conferências e comunicações orais apresentadas, cujos autores demonstraram interesse em produzir o respetivo documento escrito, dentro das várias áreas temáticas, que estiveram em análise e discussão durantes os trabalhos do congresso. Dentro dessas áreas, destacam-se: a Ginástica, Exercício e Desenvolvimento Humano; a Ginástica em Contexto Escolar (Formação de Professores, Desporto Escolar e Didática); as Novas Tecnologias na Ginástica; a Saúde, Ética e Bem-Estar na Ginástica; o Treino Desportivo e a Análise de Desempenho na Ginástica. This book falls within the scope of the Portugal Gymnastics Federation's 9th National Congress and 7th International Gymnastics Congress, which covered the theme "Gymnastics in the Global Society" and was held from October 11–13, 2024, at the University of Trás-os-Montes and Alto Douro. The Congress Proceedings are the outcome of a compilation of oral communications and conferences whose authors showed interest in creating the corresponding written record within the different areas developed and discussed during the congress’ work. Among these, the following are particularly noteworthy: Exercise, Gymnastics, and Human Development; Gymnastics in the School Setting (Schoolvi Sports, Didactics, and Teacher Training); Gymnastics and New Technologies; Gymnastics and Health, Ethics, and Wellbeing; Gymnastics Sports Training and Performance Analysis.
