O presente trabalho constitui um estudo exploratório que visa abordar o tema da criatividade em contexto educacional.
O seu objetivo geral consiste em identificar como estudantes do ensino superior português percebem a estimulação da criatividade em sala de aula. O estudo é constituído por uma primeira parte, teórica, sustentada numa investigação bibliográfica. O estudo empírico baseia-se numa metodologia quantitativa, com recurso a um questionário online, desenvolvido especialmente para esta investigação e aplicado a estudantes do ensino superior português.
Os dados sugerem que ainda há lacunas no que se compreende como potencial criativo, uma vez que se observam contradições na percepção de criatividade por parte dos estudantes. Além disso, é importante enfatizar a relação entre o estudante e o contexto educacional, nomeadamente a sala de aula, onde se identificou que o professor exerce grande influência no desenvolvimento criativo.
This dissertation consists of an exploratory research about creativity in an educational context. The general aim of the research is to identify how Portuguese university students perceive the stimulation of creativity in the classroom. The first part of the study presents a theoretical approach to the topic based on a bibliographic research. The empirical part, is based on a quantitative methodology. The researcher developed an online questionnaire. This questionnaire was sent to universities. Students answered to them online. The data suggest that there are still gaps in what is understood as creative potential, since it seems to exist contradictions in students' perception of creativity. In addition, it is important to emphasize the relationship between the student and the educational context, namely the classroom, since teachers have a great influence in the creative development of their students.
