Abstract(s)
The theme chosen for the investigation is: “Utilized strategies by the nurses to reduce the pain non kids/young during the procedures” and it´s related with the particular taste of the investigator for the Paediatric area and with the worry for the control of pain. The investigation has, as the main objective, understand the way nurses that work at paediatrics minimize the pain of kids/young during invasive procedures. The suffering and the pain of the child are one of the main worries of the nurses and the parents. (Monteiro, 2013) The importance of controlling the child´s pain has been evolving thru the time, because the perception of the pain by the kid is recon since the early age. Santos, (2016) defends that the nurses have an important role on the management of strategies to reduce anxiety and pain in the kid. This study has an exploratory and descriptive character with qualitative approaches. On this project had participated 17 nurses witch work at the appointment of children´s health and paediatrics which, in multiple circumstances, has to do procedures more invasive and painful to kids/young. The data of the investigation were obtained by an interview semi structured made by the investigator. The results of the investigation show that the nurses worry more and more by the pain in paediatric, and utilize multiple strategies non pharmacologic (mostly) on the control of the pain in kids during procedures. They show the importance of partnership of cares as an indispensable non-pharmacologic strategy, and agree that the continuous learning on the area of paediatric pain is fulcral so that they can have a better response and on a more specialized way deal with the daily challenges.
