Abstract(s)
A relação entre as drogas e o crime, além de inegável, tem vindo a ser cada vez mais estudada. No entanto, são muito escassas as análises feitas atendendo ao papel que o género pode desempenhar nesta relação, demonstrando por isso a pertinência e importância deste projeto de investigação.
Tendo isto em perspetiva, na futura aplicação deste projeto, pretende-se trabalhar com uma amostra representativa de ambos os géneros e, como tal, estabelece-se um equilíbrio de 50% de cada. O veículo para a obtenção das informações necessárias ao desenvolvimento deste estudo será a entrevista individual.
No que aos resultados diz respeito, espera-se que se encontrem diferenças quanto à tipologia de crimes cometidos e quanto ao tipo substâncias consumidas por mulheres e homens toxicodependentes.
The drug-crime link is undeniable and has been increasingly studied. However, there has been very few analysis of the role gender can take in this relationship, this shows the relevance and the importance of this research project. In the future application of this project, we intend to work with a representative sample of both genders and, as such, a balance of 50% of each is established. The method for gathering the information needed to carry out this study will be individual interviews. Regarding the results, it is expected that there will be differences in the type of crimes committed as well as in the type of substances consumed by female and male drug addicts.
