| dc.description.abstract | A preparação e administração de terapêutica é uma das atividades da enfermagem que mais ocupa o dia-a-dia do enfermeiro, exigindo conhecimentos bem sustentados e diversos, que vão desde a forma como se prepara cada fármaco, bem como cuidados antes, durante e após a sua administração (Raposo, 2015, p.1). Sabe-se da diversidade de possibilidades de erro que podem acontecer no dia-a-dia no processo do cuidado aos doentes, os erros terapêuticos são talvez mais frequentes, ressalvando-se a necessidade de se empreender medidas eficazes de gestão deste risco. Os erros terapêuticos são um sério problema não só porque aumentam os custos das hospitalizações, mas porque também são a causa de uma elevada taxa de morbilidade e mortalidade (Raposo, 2015, p.1). Face a situação exposta surgiu então o interesse por parte da investigadora de trabalhar sobre a tão preocupante temática do Erro Terapêutico. Assim sendo como objetivo geral delineado para o presente Projeto de Graduação, pretende-se “Identificar a informação que uma amostra de estudantes do 3º e 4º Ano do Curso de Licenciatura em Enfermagem possuí sobre o Erro Terapêutico”. A população escolhida foram os estudantes que se encontram a frequentar o 3º e 4º Ano do Curso de Licenciatura em Enfermagem e dentro destes a amostra selecionada foram 60 alunos que correspondem aos critérios de inclusão delineados para este estudo. O instrumento de colheita de dados selecionado para aplicar no presente Projeto de Graduação foi um questionário construído pela própria investigadora. A colheita de dados foi realizada entre os dias 5 de Fevereiro de 2018 e 11 de Fevereiro de 2018. De forma a dar resposta aos objetivos e às questões de investigação delineadas, foi realizado um estudo quantitativo do tipo descritivo simples, transversal, de acordo com a metodologia de Fortin (2009). Após a análise e interpretação dos resultados obtidos através da aplicação do questionário no presente estudo de investigação, conclui-se que: Relativamente aos dados sociodemográficos que permitem obter a caracterização da amostra, verifica-se que a amostra em estudo, composta por 60 elementos é constituída maioritariamente por elementos do género feminino. Em termos de idades possuem idades compreendidas entre os 21 e os 39 anos, apresentando assim uma média de idades de 30 anos. Dos 60 elementos inquiridos no estudo, maioritariamente os elementos da amostra pertencem ao 4º ano do Curso de Licenciatura em Enfermagem. Através da análise dos valores médios por resposta obtidos para as afirmações relativas a “erro terapêutico” e “causas e fatores que contribuem para a ocorrência de erros terapêuticos”, verifica-se que a amostra responde adequadamente às afirmações que foram apresentadas. Na análise dos valores médios por respostas obtidos nas afirmações que dizem respeito a “diferentes tipos de erros terapêuticos”, pode-se constatar que maioritariamente a amostra em estudo consideram que os tipos de erros apresentados são erros que ocorrem raramente ou que ocorrem às vezes. Nas afirmações relativas às “fases do circuito de medicamento“, verifica-se que através da análise aos valores médios por resposta, estes permitem constatar que aproximadamente 50% da amostra deste estudo, considera que em todas as fases, há probabilidade da ocorrência de erros terapêuticos. | pt_PT |
| dc.description.abstract | The preparation and administration of therapeutics is one of the activities of nursing that occupies the daily routine of the nurse, demanding well-informed and diverse knowledge, ranging from the way each drug is prepared, as well as care before, during and after (Raposo, 2015, p.1). It is well known that there is a diversity of possibilities for error that may occur in the day-to-day care of patients. Therapeutic errors are perhaps more frequent, with the need to take effective measures to manage this risk. Therapeutic errors are a serious problem not only because they increase the costs of hospitalizations, but because they are also the cause of a high rate of morbidity and mortality (Raposo, 2015, p.1). In view of the exposed situation, the researcher's interest in working on the very worrying issue of Therapeutic Error arose. Thus, as a general objective outlined for the present Graduation Project, it is intended to "Identify the information that a sample of students of the 3rd and 4th year of the Nursing Degree course has on the Therapeutic Error". The selected population was the students who are attending the 3rd and 4th year of the Nursing Degree Course and within these the selected sample were 60 students that correspond to the inclusion criteria outlined for this study. The data collection instrument selected to apply in this Graduation Project was a questionnaire built by the researcher herself. Data collection was performed between February 5 th, 2018 and February 11th, 2018. In order to answer the objectives and research questions outlined, a quantitative study of the simple descriptive type, transversal, was carried out according to the methodology of Fortin (2009). After the analysis and interpretation of the results obtained through the application of the questionnaire in the present research study, we conclude that: With regard to the sociodemographic data that allow to obtain the characterization of the sample, it is verified that the sample in study, composed of 60 elements is constituted mainly by elements of the feminine gender. In terms of ages they are between the ages of 21 and 39, thus presenting an average age of 30 years. Of the 60 elements surveyed in the study, the majority of the sample belong to the 4th year of the Nursing Degree. By analyzing the mean values by response obtained for the statements regarding "therapeutic error" and "causes and factors contributing to the occurrence of therapeutic errors", it is verified that the sample responds adequately to the statements that were presented. In the analysis of the mean values for answers obtained in the affirmations referring to "different types of therapeutic errors", it can be seen that for the most part the study sample considers that the types of errors presented are errors that occur rarely or that occur at times. In the statements related to the "drug circuit phases", it can be seen that by analyzing the mean values per response, they show that approximately 50% of the sample of this study considers that in all cases, there is a probability of occurrence of therapeutic errors. | pt_PT |
