Abstract(s)
Introdução: A reabilitação oral e a estética estão, atualmente, sinergicamente
relacionadas.
palavras-chave e objetivo do trabalho.
estética, a função e a saúde oral do paciente.
Introduction: Oral rehabilitation and aesthetics are currently synergistically related. Aesthetics includes harmony, composition, dynamics and proportion. Combining these factors with the gingival architecture, teeth, lips and face, as well as with the expectations of the patient will constitute first a great clinical challenge and secondly, as a consequence, the guarantee of the success of the treatment. Objective: Through a narrative review of the literature, establish the influence of the parameters interdental papillae, gingival zeniths and interlinear niches in the general shape of the anterior teeth. Establish guidelines that assist in the clinical and laboratory control of the same, in order to make aesthetic rehabilitation of the smile more predictable. Methodology: Narrative review of the selected bibliography according to the keywords and purpose of the work. Discussion and Conclusion: Interdental papillae, gingival zeniths and interincisal niches are preponderant in the design of a new smile, forming part of a set of micro- and macro-aesthetic factors. With this work, it was possible to conclude that there are no universal rules, but rather guidelines of performance, providing balance in a dental rehabilitation with the objective of promoting individualization. Thus, establishing the parameters to be analyzed for dental rehabilitation and obeying the rules recommended in the literature is fundamental to avoid errors that condition the aesthetics, function and oral health of the patient.
