A Endodontia é a área da Medicina Dentária que se ocupa da biologia e patologias da
polpa dentária.
O objetivo deste trabalho é a comparação de dois sistemas reciprocantes, WaveOne Gold®
e Reciproc Blue®, em relação à resistência à fadiga cíclica, a capacidade de modelagem
canalar, a formação de microcracks, a extrusão apical de detritos e a eficácia na realização
de retratamento endodôntico.
Foi realizada uma busca de material de apoio nos motores de busca Pubmed, Medline,
Scielo e Google Académico.
Nos pontos revistos neste estudo o sistema Reciproc Blue® mostra ser mais resistente à
fadiga cíclica, enquanto que o sistema WaveOne Gold® produz menor quantidade de
resíduos dentro do canal e causa menor extrusão apical desses detritos, e produziu um
menor transporte do canal e tinha uma melhor capacidade de modelagem do canal. Nos
outros pontos de comparação não houveram diferenças significativas entre os dois
sistemas.

The purpose of this paper is comparing two reciprocating systems, WaveOne Gold® and Reciproc Blue®, assessing cyclic fatigue, shaping ability, microcrack formation, apical extrusion of debris, and the ability of removing obturation material for endodontic retreatment. The search for bibliographic material was done using Pubmed, Medline, Scielo and Google Academic. About the points reviewed in this study, Reciproc Blue® showed more cyclic fatigue resistance, while WaveOne Gold® produced less debris inside the canal and apically extruded less of those debris, showed a better shaping ability and less canal transportation. In the other points of comparison there were no significant differences between the two systems.
