Abstract(s)
No
inclusive, focadas no agressor.

For that, it was proposed to analyze the data of fifteen Forms of Attention of the Center of Reference and Assistance to Women, it was observed that of these fifteen women the age range is between 18 and 40 years of age; it was also verified that the main reasons for the permanence of women victims of domestic violence are associated with cultural factors, with economic dependency being the most recurrent; in sequence were the issues of risk of the rupture of the relationship due to the threat of death; and for reasons that inhibit reporting, centered on fear. Thus, from the reflection on the significant increase in domestic violence and the prognosis for possible solutions, it was concluded that the causes of women's permanence in abusive relationships are intrinsically associated with the system of patriarchal domination rooted culturally in society and that it is done it is necessary to implement a strategy of empowering the victims to enable them to break with the abusive cycle, as well as public policies aimed at prevention and even focused on the aggressor.
