Juvenile delinquency is a very important issue, and in recent years here in Portugal, the number of participations has been decreasing, but we need more intervention, not only in terms of prevention, but also social reintegration and no more recurrence. This present project is divided in two parts, it begins with the bibliographic research which describes the various perspectives of juvenile delinquency, a reference is made to the difference between the age and the gender of the childrenâs and the young ones as well the risk and protection factors. In the second part, is planned a research proposal that involves a questionnaire, to develop the factors most associated with the practice of antisocial behaviors, as well as to help them in social reintegration and future prevention, that should be applied to children and young people of CPCJ da Maia aged 12 to 21 years old. An early identification of some risk factors may influence an early intervention.
