| dc.description.abstract | A presença de estrangeiros em outros países foi sempre uma constante na História dos povos e na construção da Europa, mas o estatuto deles foi evoluindo de acordo com variáveis, tais como as condições económicas, demográficas e, enfim, políticas dos países receptores. O conceito de imigrante, sucessivo ao de estrangeiro e também mais restrito e mais específico que aquele, vem dar origem a novas configurações e a diferentes percepções duma realidade omnipresente em França. The presence of foreigners in other countries has always been a constant in the history of people and in the construction of Europe. Their status, however has changed through time due to factors such as the economy, population and policies of the host countries. The concept of immigrant while following that of foreigner is more restricted and specific than this latter one. This concept of immigrant originates new configurations and new perceptions on an ubiquitous reality in France. | por |
