Abstract(s)
Introduction: cardiac diagnosis is fundamental in cardiac rehabilitation. The sit-to-stand can be a good alternative test to the most commonly used tests in cardiac assessment. Objective: to analyze and evaluate the metric properties of the chair stand up and sit down test. Methodology: A search was conducted in the PubMed, Cochrane Central Register of Controlled Trials and Web of Science databases to identify studies that evaluated the metric properties of the sit and stand test in a population with heart disease. The methodological quality was analyzed using COSMIN guidelines. Results: 16 studies were included in this review. The metric properties in most of the studies had good results. Conclusion: most of the studies obtained good results of the metric properties of the sit and stand up chair test, in the general level of quality of evidence of the metric properties of the sit-to-stand test were identified as "inadequate" and "doubtful" and therefore it will be necessary to continue conducting better studies to study the metric properties of the test so that it can be used more regularly in clinical practice.
